visitTeesvalley came to Calm with a brief to design a highly functional, inspiring and interactive website that shone the spotlight on things to do in the area, showcasing Tees Valley as a vibrant events led destination.
visitTeesvalley came to Calm with a brief to develop a highly functional, inspiring and interactive website that shone the spotlight on things to do in the area, showcasing Tees Valley as a vibrant events led destination.
The brief was unique in that Calm was to plan the information architecture using wire-frame diagrams for eight unique pages, with revolving image carousels, call to actions, interactive maps, themed thumbnails and a live search.
We built the design into the desti.ne DMS platform so that visitTeesvalley could maximise the existing consumer and product database shared right across the North East. The process involved a high level of liaison with the development team at One Northeast and the marketing team at visitTeesvalley.
The website will remain fresh with changing themes every season, or when a big sub-regional event such as Hartlepool Tall Ships 2010 takes place.
