Kingfisher Gets to the Heart of the City

Kingfisher Media have a brand new website that showcases their beautifully designed city guides, with everything you need to know about most major UK cities.
Calm Digital was invited to develop a website that provides not only an online resource for information on what to do and where to go in some of the UK's most vibrant cities, but also to show the books themselves off using some very nice Flash software.
Visitors to www.kingfishermedia.co.uk can view all the city guides, page by page. There is also a list of advertisers and hotels that carry the beautifully designed hard-cover books, which can be found in every room.
The site's original brief was to give advertisers and hotels added value by displaying the collection of city guides online. This evolved to a more consumer approach, giving advertisers the opportunity to take advantage of media space online.
