Thu, 26 Apr 2007
The Middlesbrough NHS PCT was established on 1st April 2002 and is the largest PCT in the County Durham and Tees Valley Health Authority area. The PCT serves a population of 196,000 people living in the Middlesbrough area. It has a challenging but ambitious program of health improvement that seeks to secure long term benefits for public and patients by working in partnership with two local authorities, local NHS Trusts, other PCT?s, the voluntary sector and of course individuals living in the PCT area.
COMMUNICATION NEED:
Calm Asylum was invited by the NHS Primary Care Trust to develop and establish several in-store elements of its new technology based ‘Life Store’ project. Aimed at all age groups, it utilises cutting-edge technology to help promote healthy living and lifestyle. Essentially it is a health advice centre and the challenge for Calm was to promote this message, using screensaver technology and digital storefronts, to attract traffic from the busy and competitive high-street market.
