Calm was invited by Newcastle University (NU) to submit a proposal for the design and development of a website to support the promotion of Marine Industry to the North East.
The website must provide a central platform for promoting and delivering coherent content from partners, educational and industry organisations, while linking into existing external website content.
Currently North East based Marine Industry content, from career opportunities to course information, is delivered in isolation through individual college, university or industry websites and it has been recognised there is an opportunity to develop a information portal to develop a coherent platform for the promoting the industry. The website must provide an exciting, dynamic and flexible communication tool allowing effective content management and scalability in order to build a real depth to its content and support an effective information linking strategy.
