Designing Demand aims to help businesses become more competitive, increase their profits and boost their performance through the strategic effective use of design.

The Programme is geared to the needs of the business.  It could be a start-up looking for investment and quick growth, or an established business searching for a fresh burst of energy and a new strategic direction.

Delivered by Entrust and the Business Innovation Centre (BIC), and funded by One NorthEast and the European Regional Development Fund, the Programme allows SMEs to overcome the barriers to using design as a driver for growth and competitiveness.

There are a series of free workshops being held across the region from now until November 2008 to explore the opportunities available through design. The Programme is practical, tangible and transformational and it’s tried and tested, delivering benefits you can measure. Benefits like higher sales, better market share and bigger profit margins.
