LSC and A4E appoint Calm to develop Diploma Lowdown website...

Calm Asylum has been appointed by the LSC and A4E to develop a new online resource for raise awareness of Specialist Diplomas, a new qualification designed by QCA, the DfES and the Skills for Business Network to recognise the achievements of 14 ? 19 year olds.
The new qualification will be introduced into schools in Sept ’08 and will be rolled out to teachers throughout ’07 through a project named ‘The Diploma Low Down’. The web site will provide detail about Specialist Diplomas for teachers and include information on Tees Valley businesses involved in the Diploma, how to get involved and what impact the delivery of the qualification will have for them.
Calm’s experience in the education sector has led to commissions for a growing number of online projects from national and regional education organisations such as LSN, GO-NE, LSC, Work Related Learning, Connexions, A4E, MFC Enterprise Academy, Routz Middlesbrough and Yorkshire and Humber Grid for Learning, building dynamic online resources and education tools as well as brand development and print.
