Online Advent Calendar is a massive success?Again!

For the second year running the Christmas Advent Calendar has beaten all of our expectations and proved to be our biggest viral campaign of the year.
1,500 people were sent the launch e-mail on the 1st of December. Better tracking enabled us to monitor viral activity through our ‘Send to a friend’ function, but we didn’t expect the response we got. 400,000 unique visitors and 50 million hits later we we’re getting calls and e-mails from clients all over the country to say they had been sent the link by some truly unusual routes.
Our favourite journey was e-mailed to us by a client in Stockton, who received the link via a friend in local government in Birmingham, who in turn had been sent it by a friend in local government in Glasgow, who had been sent it by a friend in a commercial company based in Houston, Texas!
From a business perspective it was a triumph. Sales of the Advent Calendar beat all expectations this year and enquires are already being made by companies keen to build the cost of the Advent Calendar into this year’s marketing budget. To accommodate these early bookers we’re offering a massive 15% saving on orders placed before the end of March.
