By visiting the very first visitTeesvalley Business Showcase event, for meetings and events organisers on Thurday 28th June 2007 at Middlesbrough Football Club.

This one-day spectacular, organised by the Area Tourism Partnership, visitTeesvalley, is an exceptional opportunity to showcase, all under one roof, what the Tees Valley has to offer the business traveller.  With over 25 high standard hotels, unique conference venues and corporate activity providers already signed up to exhibit and a pre registered list of attendees growing daily the event looks set to be a great success.

The show will open with a speed-networking event and half hourly prize draws will run throughout the day with over 33 prizes to give away, from free nights B&B,  to free room hire, catering and goody bags.  Also try your hand at quad biking or 4x4 driving in the car park, courteousy of Arena Quads.

Team development provider, TeamSmart will also be there with their ‘Big Picture’ event, where visitors to the show will help complete a picture by a famous artist.  Each individual will be asked to paint a small section of the painting, which when joined with the other sections will complete the ‘Big Picture’.  The final piece will be donated to charity.

Lynda Clayton, Business Tourism Officer for visitTeesvalley comments, “We are very excited about the opportunity to showcase the Tees Valley’s conference facilities to national conference organisers, we have high quality, unusual and professional venues for organisers to book. This event highlights some of our exceptional and unique facilities such as Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience - a reconstruction of an 18th Century Seaport, the 12th Century Walworth Castle Hotel, two university campuses, the 4 star Redworth Hall Hotel and the two football clubs – and some lucky visitors will get the chance to sample the venues with prize draws for free accommodation with selected properties”

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to visit Tees Valley and find out for yourself how good our conference facilities are. For more information about attending the event please contact Lynda Clayton, Business Tourism Officer at visitTeesvalley on lynda@visitteesvalley.co.uk or 01642 264937.
