"I initially approached Calm Asylum to discuss the electronic distribution of a press release to our media targets. However, in addition to the press release we wanted to provide our targets with additional, supplementary information such as product and our client?s company background. But, due to the potential issues caused by target recipient sever firewalls, simply attaching the files to the email where users could download as much, or as little additional information as they required quickly and simply."
“Challenged and teamwork
The biggest challenge was one of time. Calm had two to three days project time available in which to prepare the email for distribution and to activate the microsite. To save time, our in-house studio and the Calm folks teamworked seamlessly: Calm’s ability to be this flexible is particularly attractive to us as it enables us to reduce project costs by utilising our in house skills.
Support, service and results
The service and support that Calm provided was great. Calm nominated a dedicated project manager who was able to handhold us through the project, providing calming reassurance when required. Our only criticism is that next time
As our project was a potential news story hitting our target media within a fixed timeframe with appropriate and relevant information that they could access easily was critical. Calm was able to help us achieve this criteria within an inexhaustible supply of humour – even when faced with adversity – and complete professionalism."
